Product Description
What it does
The Hikvision iDS-7332HUHI-M4/S is a 32-channel hybrid DVR (digital video recorder) built for larger analogue-plus-IP installs. It accepts HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs on the same recorder, so existing analogue cameras and newer IP cameras can share one system. IP camera inputs go up to 64 channels and support resolutions up to 12MP.
AcuSense adds deep learning-based motion detection 2.0 across all analogue channels, plus perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion) on selected channels — this cuts false alerts from leaves, shadows or small animals compared with plain motion detection.
Recording tops out at 8MP@8fps or 5MP@12fps, encoded in H.265 Pro+, H.265 Pro, H.265, H.264+ or H.264 to keep file sizes manageable.
Storage and outputs
- 4 SATA interfaces, each taking a drive up to 12TB — the number of channels and recording settings decide how much you actually need.
- eSATA port for external storage expansion.
- RAID support for data redundancy — worth using on any system you can't afford to lose footage from.
- Dual HDMI outputs, one supporting 4K with independent display, so two monitors can show different feeds.
- Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for network throughput and redundancy.
POS-triggered recording with information overlay suits retail counters and tills.
