Product Description
The Hikvision 16-ch 5MP 1U H.265 AcuSense DVR (iDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT) has 16 channels and records to one hard drive. As a hybrid recorder, it can also take up to 24 IP cameras. A DVR is a digital video recorder. 1U means a slim, single-unit-height case.
What the specs mean
- Five input types: HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP. Existing analogue cameras and newer IP cameras can share one recorder.
- Recording up to 3K/5MP Lite at 12fps: a high-resolution picture at 12 frames per second.
- Up to 24 IP camera inputs, each up to 6MP: room to grow the system. Decoding covers up to 24 channels of 1080p at 30fps.
- H.265 Pro+ compression: smaller files and lower storage and bandwidth use.
- Outputs: HDMI up to 4K, VGA up to Full HD.
AcuSense analytics
AcuSense uses deep learning to classify humans and vehicles, so irrelevant motion triggers fewer false alarms. You get 4-channel facial recognition or 8-channel perimeter protection. All channels support motion detection and HDTVI two-way audio, and 16-channel AcuSearch is included.
What else you need
- One SATA hard drive, up to 12TB. There is a single bay. More capacity comes from NAS (network attached storage) or iSCSI network storage.
- Cameras, cabling and a monitor with HDMI or VGA input.
Suited to commercial buildings, warehouses, offices and retail sites that run mixed camera types.
