Scope and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions govern use of the Clear Security website and every order placed through it. They should be read before an order is placed; anyone who does not accept them should not use our services.
Consumer rights: no term below removes or limits a consumer’s statutory rights, and where a term conflicts with those rights, the statutory rights take precedence.

Formation of the contract
An order submitted through this website is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm dispatch; neither placing the order nor receiving an acknowledgement creates it.
Availability: every order depends on stock. Where an item is no longer available, or a price or description is found to be wrong before dispatch, the order may be declined and the full amount refunded.
Prices and VAT
Currency and VAT: prices are stated in GBP, and all of them include VAT at 20%. The price displayed is the price payable for the goods.
Delivery charges are itemised before you complete the order. Prices may change at any time; a change does not apply to an order we have already accepted.
Delivery and risk
Delivery times shown on the site are estimates. If no delivery date has been agreed, delivery is made without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is formed.
Risk: passes on delivery. Consumers: ownership and risk transfer when you, or your nominee, take physical possession of the goods.
Returns and refunds
Consumers: a cancellation period of 14 days on distance purchases, plus separate rights where goods are faulty or misdescribed. Business buyers: prior authorisation for every return, a return period of 14 days counted from delivery, and no restocking fee.

Limitation of liability
Liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit is not excluded or limited. This covers death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and breach of a consumer’s statutory rights.
Excluded, subject to the above: indirect or consequential loss, and any loss of data, business, revenue or profit, resulting from our supply of goods or your use of this website.
Business buyers: our total liability for an order cannot exceed the price paid for that order’s goods.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Governing law: England and Wales. Jurisdiction: courts in England and Wales, except that a consumer resident in Northern Ireland or Scotland may bring proceedings in the courts where they live.
