Product Description
The Hikvision 4-ch 8 MP 1U H.265 AcuSense DVR (iDS-7204HUHI-M1/XT) is a digital video recorder (DVR) that handles analogue and network cameras on one unit. "1U" describes the case height: one rack unit.
Inputs
- 4 analogue channels. The recorder adapts to five signal types: HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP.
- Up to 8 IP camera channels, each up to 8 MP (megapixels).
What the recording specs mean
- 8 MP (4K) at 8 fps on one channel, or 5 MP at 12 fps. Frames per second (fps) drop as resolution rises.
- H.265 Pro+ compression keeps file sizes down, so a given drive holds more footage.
- HDMI and VGA outputs work at the same time, up to 2560 × 1440.
AcuSense analytics
AcuSense uses deep learning to classify humans and vehicles. Shadows, animals and weather trigger fewer false alarms as a result. Facial recognition runs on up to 2 channels, perimeter protection on up to 4 channels, and AcuSearch on 4 channels. Motion detection covers all channels.
What else you need
- One SATA hard drive, up to 12 TB. Choose capacity to match your camera count and retention period.
- Compatible HDTVI cameras for two-way audio over the coax cable. RCA audio input and output are also fitted.
- RS-485 handles PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) control. Ethernet supports remote monitoring, and USB covers backup and device management.
