Product Description
The Hikvision 4-ch PoE 1U K Series AcuSense 4K NVR (DS-7604NXI-K1/4P) is a four-channel network video recorder (NVR) with power over Ethernet (PoE) built in. Each compatible IP camera connects, receives power and records through one cable run to the recorder.
What the specs mean in practice
- 4 PoE ports, 4 camera channels: a small system with no separate PoE switch.
- Cameras up to 12MP, with up to 40 Mbps (megabits per second) incoming bandwidth.
- AcuSense human and vehicle detection: cuts false alarms from animals, shadows and weather. Facial recognition and smart search help when you review footage.
- H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression formats supported: H.265+ compression saves storage and bandwidth.
- Playback decoding: 1 channel at 12MP, 2 at 8MP, 5 at 4MP or 10 at 1080p.
- Video out: HDMI up to 4K and VGA up to Full HD, set as simultaneous or independent outputs.
- Storage: one SATA (serial ATA) interface, hard drives up to 10TB.
- Network: one LAN port. Remote access through Hik-Connect and ONVIF-compatible platforms.
What else you need
- A SATA hard drive, up to 10TB, to hold the recordings.
- Up to four compatible IP cameras, within the 12MP per-camera limit.
- A network connection for the LAN port if you want remote viewing.
It suits residential, retail and small commercial systems where analytics and quick setup matter more than channel count.
