Dahua XVR5108H-4KL-X-8P 8 Channel 4K Penta-brid PoC Hybrid DVR

The Dahua XVR5108H-4KL-X-8P 8 Channel 4K Penta-brid PoC Hybrid DVR is a digital video recorder (DVR) with eight camera inputs. "Penta-brid" means it accepts five signal types: HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP. Existing analogue cameras and new IP cameras can share one recorder.

What the specs mean in use

• Power over Coax (PoC), up to 8 inputs: compatible HDCVI cameras get power and send video along one coax cable. The recorder's total PoC output is 48W, shared between the cameras. Add up each camera's power draw before you plan the system.
• Up to 4K on analogue, up to 8MP on IP: the picture detail depends on the camera you connect, so match the cameras to the recorder.
• Hybrid mode, 8+4: takes up to 12 IP camera inputs.
• H.265+ compression: a video format that cuts file size and network load while keeping picture quality.
• One SATA bay, up to 10TB: a hard disk drive (HDD) is needed for recording. Drive size and camera settings decide how many days of footage you keep.
• HDMI up to 4K, plus VGA: both outputs run at once, so you can feed two monitors. VGA outputs Full HD.
• Gigabit Ethernet and ONVIF: third-party IP cameras can be added as well as Dahua's own.

Smart Search and Intelligent Video System support are included. The recorder suits commercial, retail, warehouse and industrial surveillance where one coax run per camera keeps cabling simple.
