Product Description
The ProLux PXD-5208AN-4KL-X/8P 8 Channel 4K Hybrid DVR PoC H.265+ Recorder is an 8-channel digital video recorder (DVR) that takes analogue and IP cameras on the same unit. That suits a site where old cameras stay and new ones are added.
What it accepts
- Analogue: HDCVI, HDTVI, AHD and CVBS.
- IP: hybrid mode, up to 12/24 IP channels, each up to 8MP (megapixels).
- Incoming bandwidth: up to 48 Mbps, rising to 96 Mbps depending on mode. This is the total data the recorder can take in from all cameras at once.
Power over Coax (PoC)
PoC sends power and video down one coaxial cable, so compatible cameras need no separate power lead. Output power is 48/96W in total. That covers up to 8/16 Lite series PoC cameras or 4/8 Pro series PoC cameras. Check each camera's series before you plan the cable runs.
Recording and viewing
- H.265+/H.265 dual-stream compression reduces storage and network load compared with older codecs.
- Smart Search and the Intelligent Video System help you find events in playback.
- HDMI and VGA outputs connect a local monitor.
- Remote viewing and management work from network-connected devices.
Before you order
You will need compatible cameras, coaxial cable and a monitor. Choose a hard drive to match your camera count and how long you want to keep footage.
