The Longse NVR3109S1P8 9CH 4K PoE NVR Recorder 8 Port PoE H.265+ Up to 8TB CCTV (SKU NVR3016E1P8) is a network video recorder with power sockets for IP cameras built in. PoE (Power over Ethernet) means one network cable carries both power and data to each camera.

What the specs mean in practice

• 9 channels, 4K: up to nine camera channels, with 4K recording.
• 8 PoE ports: each is an independent 100Mbps port, so eight cameras can plug straight into the recorder. No separate PoE switch is needed for those eight.
• H.265+: a video compression format that reduces the storage each recording uses.
