Unbranded XVR-3108AD-4MP 8 Channel 4MP Hybrid HD CCTV DVR

The XVR-3108AD-4MP is an 8-channel hybrid recorder: it accepts TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS analogue cameras, plus IP cameras through its hybrid mode. That mix matters if you're upgrading an existing analogue system without ripping out every camera.

What the specs mean for you

• 8 channels — up to 8 cameras total, analogue or a mix with IP.
• 4MP recording — each channel can record at up to 4MP resolution, sharper than standard 1080p.
• H.264/H.265 compression — H.265 stores the same footage in less space, useful for longer retention on one drive.
• 1 SATA HDD bay — you supply the hard drive; the DVR (digital video recorder) doesn't include one.
• HDMI and VGA outputs — connect a monitor for live viewing and playback on site.
• USB ports — for exporting footage as backup and applying firmware updates.

Remote access

Network connectivity lets you view live and recorded footage remotely through a mobile app or client software, so you're not tied to the on-site monitor.

Points to check before ordering

Confirm your existing cameras are TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS or IP compatible, and that you have a SATA hard drive ready — this unit doesn't ship with one, only support for it. Also listed under the SKU variants XVR-3108AD-4MP-NO-HDD, XVR-3104AD-4MP and XVR-3104AD-4MP+NO-HDD.
