Recording on motion only extends the period.
Channels and cameras: what is the difference?
Channels: the number of cameras a recorder can accept. Cameras: the quantity included in the kit. Spare channels: none on the smallest recorders in this range; 12 on the largest. Spare channels allow cameras to be added later without replacing the recorder.
