Texecom AGB-0003 Exodus FT64 – 64°C Fixed Temperature Heat Detector

The Fixed Temperature Heat Detector 64°C — Texecom FT64 (SKU TEXECOM-AGB-0003) raises an alarm when the surrounding temperature reaches 64°C. It responds to heat, not smoke.

What each spec means in practice

• 64°C fixed activation point. The alarm threshold is a set temperature, so it suits kitchens, garages and dusty environments where a smoke detector may trip on fumes or particles.
• 12V, 4-wire with built-in alarm relay. The relay is part of the detector. It connects to a conventional fire or intruder alarm control panel.
• EN54-5 compliant. EN54-5 is the European standard for heat detectors in fire detection systems. It marks this unit as a fire detection device for professional installations.
• Microprocessor-controlled thermal detection. Digital processing of the heat readings is intended to improve reliability and reduce false alarms.
• Alarm simulation test button. Press it to send a test alarm to the panel. You can check the zone during commissioning and maintenance without heating the detector.

What else you need

• A fire or intruder alarm control panel with a zone that accepts a 12V 4-wire detector.
• Cable for the four-wire connection back to that panel.
