The Hikvision Wireless PIR Motion Detector, 15 m, AX PRO (SKU DS-PDP15P-EG2-WE(B)) detects human movement using passive infrared (PIR) sensing. It is made for Hikvision AX PRO intruder alarm systems and protects indoor areas such as homes, offices and commercial buildings.
What each spec means in use
- Up to 15 m range, 85.9° coverage angle: one detector watches a wedge of space reaching 15 m. That suits rooms, hallways and entry areas.
- Pet immunity up to 30 kg: built to reduce false alarms caused by animals weighing up to 30 kg.
- Smart Environmental Control (SEC): digital signal processing combined with a 3D optical design, aimed at cutting false triggers caused by environmental conditions.
- Frequency hopping: the wireless link changes frequency to improve reliability and resist interference or jamming attempts.
- Replaceable battery with PCB protection: the battery can be swapped without replacing the detector. PCB means printed circuit board, the electronics inside.
What else you need
This is a wireless accessory, not a standalone alarm. You need a compatible AX PRO alarm hub to pair it with. Multiple enrollment methods are available for pairing during installation. Once enrolled, the detector can be configured remotely in the Hik-Connect mobile app when used with compatible hubs.
