Texecom Kit-1003 Premier Elite Series, 64-Zone Self-Contained Wireless Alarm Kit

The Texecom Kit-1003 Premier Elite Series, 64-Zone Self-Contained Wireless Alarm Kit (SKU and MPN: TEXECOM-KIT-1003) is a wireless intruder alarm for homes and small commercial premises. It is built around the Premier Elite 64-W LIVE control panel and Texecom's Ricochet mesh wireless system.

What the specs mean in practice

• 32 wireless zones, expandable to 64. A zone is one protected input, such as a door contact or a motion detector. Start with up to 32 and add devices later.
• Ricochet mesh. Devices talk to the panel dynamically, which helps signal reliability across a larger property.
• P15-W Capture PIR detectors, 15 m range. PIR means passive infrared, a motion sensor that reacts to body heat. Fifteen metres covers a long room or hallway.
• Optional PetWise mode. Reduces false alarms caused by small animals.
• Two Premier Elite SmartKey proximity fobs. Used to operate the system.

Remote control

The kit works with the Texecom Connect system. With a supported module such as Premier Elite ComWiFi, you can manage alarm functions remotely and receive notifications.

What you still need

• An AB21 2.1A backup battery for the control panel, typically supplied separately.
• An external sounder. This kit configuration does not include one.
