The Texecom – FCC-1112 Premier Odyssey 3E Backplate is the mounting base for the Texecom Premier Odyssey 3E external sounder. It is made for the Odyssey 3E alarm series and holds the unit firmly to the surface it is fixed to. It is designed to be easy to install.
What the sounder specs mean
- 109dB volume. Decibels (dB) measure loudness. 109dB is the output level of the Odyssey 3E.
- IP44. The Ingress Protection (IP) rating. The first 4 covers solid objects over 1mm. The second 4 covers splashing water.
- Lid and wall tamper. Detects the cover being opened and the unit being removed from the wall.
- Selectable SAB/SCB mode. Choose between a self-activating bell (SAB) and a self-contained bell (SCB).
- Polycarbonate construction. A rigid plastic housing.
- PD6662:2010 Grade 2 Class IV. A UK grading for intruder alarm equipment.
The unit also has a patented Safety Engineer Hold-off Mode, advanced microprocessor technology, a strobe tube saver and twin alternating LEDs.
What else you need
The backplate is the mounting part only. To complete the sounder you need the Odyssey 3E unit itself, plus your alarm control panel wiring.
