Product Description
The Texecom Premier Elite 64-Zone Wireless Alarm Kit (KIT-1002) - Advanced Security System is a Ricochet wireless intruder alarm built around the Premier Elite 64-W control panel. It is designed for residential and commercial Grade 2 installations.
What the specs mean in practice
- 32 wireless zones, expandable to 64. Start with a modest set of detectors and door contacts, then add more devices as the property needs them.
- Ricochet mesh wireless. Devices can pass signals along more than one path, which helps reliability across larger properties.
- P15-W Capture PIR detectors, 15 m range. PIR means passive infrared: the detector senses movement by heat. 15 m covers a long room or hallway.
- PetWise mode (optional). Reduces false alarms caused by small animals in a home.
- Ricochet Odyssey X-W wireless external sounder. Joins the same wireless network and gives the outside of the building an audible alarm.
Remote management
The system works with Texecom Connect for remote management. You need a supported communication module, such as the Premier Elite ComWiFi.
What you need to add
- AB3 3 Amp backup battery for the control panel. It is supplied separately.
- A compatible cover for the external sounder.
