The Connectix Cat5e External UTP Solid Core Network Cable Black 305M is a full drum of outdoor-rated Ethernet cable, built for runs between buildings rather than inside a rack or wall cavity.

Cat5e, U/UTP, solid core: four twisted copper pairs, unscreened, with solid (not stranded) conductors. Solid core suits fixed, permanent runs — terminate it into patch panels and keystone modules rather than flexing it repeatedly, since stranded cable is the usual choice for patch leads.

LDPE outer sheath: the black jacket is low-density polyethylene, chosen for the moisture and environmental exposure a cable meets running along an external wall, through a duct, or slung from a catenary wire.
