Box Of 305m Excel External Copper Cat6 Network Cable U/UTP Outdoor Euroclass Fca 305m Black

The Box Of 305m Excel External Copper Cat6 Network Cable U/UTP Outdoor Euroclass Fca 305m Black is a 305m box of Cat6 data cable with a black polyethylene (PE) sheath, listed as suitable for CCTV, PoE (Power over Ethernet) and VoIP phones.

What the specs mean

• Cat6, tested to TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1, EN 50173-1 and ISO/IEC 11801. The cable is made and tested to these Cat6 specifications.
• Solid copper, 23 AWG. AWG is American Wire Gauge, a conductor size rating. Eight bare solid cores (Class 1) are twisted into four colour-coded pairs.
• U/UTP. Unshielded: no overall screen and no conductor screen.
• PE sheath, black, external type. The cores have PE insulation and sit around a central X-shaped PE spacer.
• Euroclass Fca (EN 13501-6). This is a reaction-to-fire rating under the Construction Products Regulation. Fca cable is suited to buildings with moderate fire safety requirements. It is also flame retardant to EN 60332-1-2 and EN 50399.
• RoHS compliant.

Before you order

The 305m figure is the length in the box. Plan your routes and work out how many camera drops it covers.

For PoE cameras you also need a PoE recorder or switch with enough ports and power budget, plus connectors or keystones to terminate the cable.
