ANNKE D941BB – 8MP 4K 4-Channel 5-in-1 DVR

The ANNKE 8MP 4K DVR: D941BB 4-Channel Hybrid Recorder (SKU AN-DV4-8MP-D941BB) is a digital video recorder (DVR) with four BNC inputs for analogue HD cameras. It also accepts IP cameras, so one box can handle a mixed system.

What the specs mean for you

• 8MP, 3840 × 2160 (4K): the highest recording resolution on compatible analogue cameras. The camera itself must output that resolution to get it.
• 5-in-1 input (TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS): the recorder reads four analogue signal types. Older cameras can stay in place while you upgrade others.
• H.265+ compression (plus H.265, H.264+ and H.264): smaller video files, so a given drive holds more footage.
• Human and vehicle detection on analogue channels: alerts focus on people and cars, which cuts false alarms from pets and shadows.
• HDMI and VGA outputs: HDMI suits a TV or modern monitor. VGA suits an older monitor.
• Remote viewing: the ANNKE Vision app, a web browser or a mobile device.
• 12V DC power input.

What else you need

Recording requires a hard drive in the single SATA (Serial ATA) bay. The recorder supports 1TB and larger drives, so size the drive to how many days of footage you want to keep. Your cameras and cabling must match one of the supported formats above.

It suits homes, small shops and offices that want 4K recording without replacing every camera.
