Clear Security CCTV kits bundle cameras and a recorder, so you can set up a system from one order. The range covers Turbo HD and IP (PoE) kits in 2MP, 4MP, 5MP and 4K, with 2 to 32 cameras.
How to choose
System type: Turbo HD kits send high-definition video over coaxial cable. IP kits use network cable. PoE (Power over Ethernet) carries power and video down that one cable, so no separate power supply is needed at each camera.
Resolution: MP means megapixels. More megapixels give more detail when you zoom into recorded footage. Higher resolutions also make larger files, so plan the hard drive size to suit.
Camera count: Kits are listed for 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 16 and 32 cameras. A recorder's channel count sets how many cameras it can accept, so match the two.
Finish: Black and white kits are both available.
Extras
Accessories are listed as a separate category for parts that are not in the kit you choose.
Frequently asked questions
What does PoE mean in an IP kit?
PoE stands for Power over Ethernet. One network cable carries both power and video to each camera.
What does 5MP mean?
It means 5 megapixels, a measure of image resolution. Higher figures give more detail in recorded footage.
How many cameras can I get in a kit?
Kits are listed from 2 cameras up to 32, including 4, 8 and 16 camera options.
Do I need to buy accessories separately?
That depends on the kit and your site. A separate Accessories category covers extra parts you may need.
