Product Description
The Hikvision DS-3E0526P-E is a 24-port Gigabit PoE switch for CCTV and network installations. It's unmanaged, so there's no configuration screen — connect cameras and it works.
What each spec means for you
- 24 × Gigabit PoE ports: each port carries both power and data to a camera or access point, so no separate power cable is needed at the device end.
- IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at support: covers standard PoE and PoE+ devices, up to 30 W per port.
- 370 W total PoE budget: this is the shared power pool across all 24 ports — add up your camera wattages to check they fit within it before relying on every port at once.
- 1 × Gigabit RJ45 uplink + 1 × Gigabit SFP fibre port: two options for connecting back to your recorder or network core — copper for short runs, fibre (with a compatible SFP module) for longer distances.
- 52 Gbps switching capacity, ~38.69 Mpps forwarding rate: headroom for multiple simultaneous video streams without bottlenecking.
Build
An 8K MAC address table tracks connected devices, and store-and-forward switching checks packets before passing them on. The metal chassis is rack-mountable and fan-free, and PoE ports carry 6 kV surge protection.
Planning a system
Before ordering, total the PoE draw of your planned cameras against the 370 W budget, and confirm your recorder or network switch further upstream has a matching uplink (RJ45 or SFP).
