Hikvision DS-3E0505P-E 4-Port Gigabit PoE Unmanaged Network Switch

The Hikvision DS-3E0505P-E is a 4-port Gigabit PoE unmanaged network switch built for CCTV installs where cameras need power and a network link from one box.

What the ports do

Four Gigabit PoE Ethernet ports connect IP cameras directly, supplying power and data over one cable. A separate Gigabit RJ45 uplink port carries that traffic on to the recorder or main network without dropping to a slower link speed.

PoE budget

The switch supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at, the two common PoE standards. Each port can output up to 30 W, but the total PoE budget across all four ports is 60 W — worth checking against your cameras' combined power draw before relying on all four running at full output together.

Build and protection

• 6 kV surge protection on the PoE ports, to help protect connected cameras from electrical surges
• Metal, fan-free enclosure for silent operation, suited to desktop placement or wall mounting
• Plug-and-play unmanaged operation — no configuration needed before use

Designed for CCTV and general network infrastructure, this switch uses store-and-forward switching with a stated 10 Gbps switching capacity and 7.44 Mpps forwarding rate.
