Product Description
4MP resolution (2688 × 1520) on a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor gives sharper, more detailed footage than standard 2MP cameras, with Hikvision citing improved identification accuracy as a result.
ColorVu: colour, not just brightness
The F1.0 lens is what makes ColorVu work — it lets in far more light than a standard lens, so the camera records full colour around the clock instead of switching to black-and-white infrared at night.
Field of view and mounting
The fixed 2.8mm lens gives a 111.9° horizontal field of view — wide enough to cover an entrance, a car park approach, or a building façade from a single mounting point.
Active deterrence
A built-in strobe light and audible warning trigger automatically when the camera's deep-learning analytics classify a human or vehicle target. Two-way audio (microphone and speaker) lets you talk through the camera in real time, rather than only reviewing footage afterwards.
What else you need
- PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12V DC power — check your NVR or switch has a spare PoE port and enough power budget.
- microSD card up to 512GB for local recording if you're not running a separate NVR.
- H.265+ compression keeps bandwidth and storage demands down despite the 4MP feed.
- IP67-rated housing, rated for outdoor exposure.
- Works with Hikvision and ONVIF-compatible NVR systems.
130 dB true WDR helps keep detail visible in scenes with strong backlighting, such as sunlit doorways.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this camera show full colour footage after dark?
Yes. The F1.0 ColorVu lens is designed to capture full-colour video 24/7, including in low light, rather than switching to infrared black-and-white.
What triggers the strobe light and alarm?
The camera's human and vehicle detection analytics can trigger the built-in strobe light and audible warning automatically when a matching target is detected.
How is the camera powered?
It supports PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12V DC power, so you'll need a PoE-capable switch, NVR, or injector, or a separate 12V supply.
Can I record without an NVR?
Yes. The camera supports local recording to a microSD card of up to 512GB.
