4 MP Smart Hybrid Light with ColorVu Fixed Turret Network Camera

What this camera actually gives you

The DS-2CD2347G3-LIS2UY/SL is a 4 MP (2688 × 1520) Hikvision turret camera with a fixed 2.8 mm lens — expect a wide horizontal field of view of 111.1°, suited to covering a driveway, garden or shopfront in one shot rather than zooming on detail.

ColorVu keeps images in colour, not just black-and-white, around the clock — Hikvision rates minimum illumination at 0.0001 Lux (colour, F1.0, AGC on), and full colour with the light on. This is backed by Smart Hybrid Light: both infrared and white LED illuminators, switching between three lighting modes, with supplement light reaching up to 30 m.

Built-in deterrence, not just recording

Two features move this beyond passive recording:

• Active strobe light and audio alarm — the camera itself can flash and sound to warn off an intruder, triggered by the on-board detection.
• Built-in dual microphone and two-way audio — talk through the camera live, and audio is captured for the recording.

The housing is rated IP67 (dust and water resistant) and built to withstand corrosion (NEMA4X-comparable), so it's intended for permanent outdoor mounting.

What else you need

Power is 12 VDC ±25% or PoE (Power over Ethernet) — check your recorder or switch has a spare PoE port, or budget for a local 12 V supply. Onboard AI classifies person and vehicle shapes, cutting down on nuisance alerts from leaves or headlight glare.
