Product Description
The Hilook 3 MP Fixed Mini Bullet Camera (THC-B230-R) is a compact HiLook Turbo HD camera for home and business CCTV. It sends its picture to a recorder, so it needs a Turbo HD DVR (digital video recorder) to work as part of a system.
What the headline specs mean
- 3 MP (megapixel): roughly three million pixels in each frame, which is more than a 2 MP camera gives you.
- Fixed: the camera does not pan or tilt. You aim it once when you mount it, and it watches that view.
- Mini bullet: a small body that sits in plain sight, which suits spots where a clearly positioned camera is the point.
- Turbo HD: the video format. The recorder it connects to has to accept it.
Where it fits
Entrances and corridors are the typical positions. It can go into a new surveillance system or replace a camera in an existing installation.
What else you need
- A compatible Turbo HD DVR.
- A recorder input that handles 3 MP resolution.
- A recorder whose supported video format matches the camera.
Check the recorder's supported resolution and video format before you connect the camera. If you are swapping out an older camera, look at the specification of the channel it is plugged into first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the THC-B230-R record on its own?
No. It is designed for use with a compatible Turbo HD DVR, which does the recording.
Can it replace a camera in an existing system?
It can, provided the recorder supports its resolution and video format. Check those two points before connecting.
What resolution is this camera?
It is a 3 MP camera, so the recorder channel needs to support that resolution.
Can I turn the camera to follow movement?
No. It is a fixed bullet camera, so you aim it at the area you want covered when you mount it.
