• 25× optical zoom, 4.8–120 mm motorised lens: 4.8 mm gives the wide view; 120 mm reaches distant objects. The extra 16× digital zoom enlarges the image rather than adding detail.

What you need alongside it

Video leaves the camera as HD-TVI (a high-definition format carried over coaxial cable) or CVBS (standard analogue composite video) through a BNC connector. Pair it with a recorder that accepts one of those inputs on a BNC channel.

Check the power supply and cable length too. The IR lamps draw more current at night, so a weak adapter or a long run can cause flicker or a black picture.
