Product Description
The Hikvision DS-2CE78U1T-IT3F is an 8 MP turret camera recording at up to 3840 × 2160 (4K). That extra resolution helps when you need to identify a face or number plate on playback, not just confirm that someone was there.
What the specs mean for you
- 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) — more detail retained on zoom or crop during review, useful for entrances, car parks, warehouses and perimeters.
- EXIR 2.0 infrared, 60 m range — Hikvision's IR array spreads illumination evenly across the scene, reducing the overexposed centre and dark edges seen with older IR designs.
- IP67 rated — protected against dust and water ingress, so it's suited to outdoor mounting as well as indoor use.
- 4-in-1 signal support (HD-TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS) — the recorder selects the format; check your DVR supports one of these four before ordering, so the existing coaxial cabling can be reused.
Fitting it into a system
This is a turret-style camera for ceiling or wall mounting with a fixed lens, so the field of view is set at installation and doesn't adjust afterwards. Confirm your DVR has a free analogue input matching one of the four supported signal types, and that it can handle the 8 MP/4K stream before adding this camera to an existing setup.
