Product Description
The Hikvision 3K ColorVu PIR Siren Fixed Bullet Camera (DS-2CE12KF3T-PIRXO) records in colour day and night, and it can warn off an intruder while it records. Here is what each spec means in use.
Spec and what you get
- 2960 × 1665 (3K) resolution: more pixels than Full HD, so more detail in each frame.
- 2.8 mm fixed lens: a wide view that suits an entrance, driveway or yard. The lens cannot be zoomed.
- 24/7 colour imaging, white light up to 40 m: the camera lights the scene itself, so night footage stays in colour.
- 130 dB true WDR (wide dynamic range): a bright sky behind a subject and a shaded doorway can both stay readable.
- 3D DNR (digital noise reduction): less grain in dark scenes.
- PIR (passive infrared) sensor: detects human body heat, which helps limit false alarms.
- Strobe light, audio alarm and built-in speaker: a flashing light and sound to warn intruders off.
- IP67 rating: water and dust resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
What else you need
The camera needs a compatible recorder to store its footage and a suitable power supply. 3K footage uses more drive space than lower resolutions, so allow for that when you size storage.
