Product Description
The Hikvision 3K Two Way Audio Fixed Turret (DS-2CE78K0T-LTS) is an HD-TVI turret camera for analogue CCTV systems. It sends 3K video over coaxial cable and lets you talk through the camera as well as watch it.
What the specs mean in practice
- 2960 × 1665 resolution: more detail than a 1080p analogue camera.
- 2.8 mm fixed lens: a wide view that suits entrances, building perimeters, shops, offices and homes. The view angle is set by the lens and cannot be zoomed.
- 40 m white light and 40 m infrared (IR): Smart Hybrid Light gives a choice between full-colour night imaging with white light and discreet IR. The lighting mode is configured through a compatible DVR (digital video recorder).
- IP67 rating: the housing is dust and water resistant, for outdoor installations.
Two-way audio
A built-in microphone and speaker carry audio over the same coaxial cable as the video, so no separate audio wiring is needed. This works when the camera is connected to a compatible Hikvision DVR that supports audio over coax.
What else you need
- A DVR with a free channel that accepts one of the camera's outputs: TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS.
- A Hikvision DVR with audio over coax support, if you want the two-way audio.
- Existing coaxial cable can stay in place when upgrading.
The turret housing can be adjusted during installation to aim the view.
