Product Description
Seagate 2TB Video HDD (ST2000VM003) — a 3.5" SATA III hard drive built for CCTV recorders that run 24/7.
This drive spins at 5900RPM, which is the speed Seagate designed for continuous video-write workloads rather than desktop bursts. It uses a SATA III interface for high-speed data transfer to the recorder.
What it's for
Designed for CCTV systems, DVRs (digital video recorders) and video surveillance, so it's built to handle constant recording and playback rather than occasional use. It's also compatible with desktops, servers, NAS (network-attached storage) devices, and external enclosures if you need general-purpose storage.
Fitting and compatibility
Order this drive with any of our CCTV kits or packages and it arrives already fitted in the recorder before dispatch, ready to go rather than as a loose part for you to fit yourself. It works with any DVR or NVR (network video recorder) surveillance system.
