Product Description
The 6TB HDD 3.5 Inch SATA Hard Drive for CCTV Recorders is a Toshiba hard disk drive (HDD) that gives a DVR (digital video recorder) or NVR (network video recorder) 6TB of space to write footage to. It is described as ideal for 24/7 continuous recording.
What the specs mean

- SATA III interface: SATA (Serial ATA) is the connection to the recorder's board. SATA III is listed for high-speed data transfer.
- 7200 RPM: the platters turn 7,200 times a minute (revolutions per minute).
Compatibility and fitting
The drive is listed as compatible with all DVR and NVR surveillance systems. It also works in desktops, servers, NAS (network attached storage) devices and external enclosures, so it can be reused outside CCTV.
