Product Description
The RG59 Shotgun CCTV Cable 100m Reel Video Power Siamese Thin sends video back to the recorder and power out to the camera through one cable. That means one pull per camera position instead of two.
What is in the cable
- RG59 coaxial core: carries the video signal from the camera to the DVR (digital video recorder).
- Integrated twin-core power pair: supplies the camera from the same run.
- Siamese ("shotgun") construction: the coax and the power cable are joined side by side.
- 100 metre reel: cut a length for each camera position.
- Thin build: more flexible than the thicker shotgun variants, so it is easier to route through conduit, trunking and wall cavities.
What it works with
It is made for analogue CCTV (closed-circuit television) systems. Cameras can be HD-TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS, connected to a DVR.
What else you need
The cable only carries the signals. Your camera and DVR must use one of the four formats above. You will also need connectors for each end and a power source for the camera.
This is not a network cable. It does not suit IP cameras run over Ethernet or PoE (power over Ethernet).
