Product Description
One reel, two jobs: the Aura RG59 Shotgun CCTV Cable Reel 100m carries video and power down a single run, so each camera drop needs one cable pull instead of two.
What the specs mean on site
- RG59 coaxial core, 75 ohm impedance — this is the video signal path. It's built for analogue CCTV signal transmission, not network (IP) traffic.
- 2 x 0.5mm power conductors — run alongside the coax so the camera can be powered from a central supply without a second cable.
- PVC outer jacket, 6.15mm outer diameter — the combined coax-and-power bundle stays a manageable size for containment and clipping.
- Supplied on a 100 metre reel — cut to length per drop rather than working from pre-terminated leads, which suits planned multi-camera jobs over single add-ons.
Compatibility
Works with HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD and CVBS analogue systems. Check your recorder and cameras use one of these standards before ordering — this is not an IP/network cable, so it won't suit PoE (Power over Ethernet) camera installs.
Where it's suited
Listed for indoor and outdoor CCTV applications, making it a fit for typical residential and commercial runs between cameras and a central recorder and power supply, including longer multi-camera installs where combining video and power in one bundle cuts down on separate cable runs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this cable transmit electrical power alongside the video signal?
Yes. It integrates an RG59 coaxial core for video with 2 x 0.5mm power conductors, so one cable run handles both.
Will this work with an IP camera system?
No. It's an analogue cable built for HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD and CVBS systems, not IP/network cameras.
What's the outer diameter of the cable?
Approximately 6.15mm, with a PVC outer jacket over the combined coaxial and power conductors.
Can it be used outdoors?
It's listed as suitable for both indoor and outdoor CCTV applications.
