Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-M Junction Box for Dome Cameras, Indoor & Outdoor Use, Load Capacity 4.5kg, Black

The DS-1280ZJ-M is a mounting junction box for compatible Hikvision dome cameras. It gives the camera a solid fixing point and a place to hide the cable connections, rather than leaving them exposed at the mounting surface.

Load capacity is 4.5 kg, so check this against the weight of the dome camera you're fitting before ordering — the box needs to support the full camera assembly, not just its own weight.

Built from aluminium alloy, it's rated for both indoor and outdoor installation. Cable entry is through the bottom of the box, which keeps network and power cables concealed inside the housing rather than routed externally. This matters most on solid walls or ceilings where there's no cavity behind the mounting point to hide cable slack — the box itself becomes the concealment space.

Finish is black, matching darker dome camera housings rather than the white finish common on standard mounts.

What to check before buying

• Confirm your dome camera model is compatible with the DS-1280ZJ-M mount pattern.
• Confirm the camera's weight is within the 4.5 kg limit.
• Plan cable routing through the bottom entry before fixing the box in place.
