Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM25 Dome Camera Junction Box White

The Hikvision DS-1280ZJ-DM25 Dome Camera Junction Box White (SKU DS-1280ZJ-DM25-W) gives the wiring behind a compatible Hikvision dome or fisheye camera a space of its own. Cables, connectors and cable joints sit inside the box instead of being left on show.

What each spec means in use

• Aluminium alloy with a spray finish: resists corrosion and keeps its shape under load, so it suits long-term indoor and outdoor runs.
• Waterproof design: the box is made for both indoor and outdoor installation, with the connections tucked inside it.
• Load capacity of approximately 4.5 kg: this is the weight the box is rated to carry. The camera counts towards it.
• Approximately 178.5 × 164 × 41 mm (about 17.9 × 16.4 × 4.1 cm): the footprint the box takes up on the wall or ceiling.
• Around 340 g: the weight of the box on its own.
• White finish: matches most Hikvision camera housings, so the camera and box look like one unit.
• Internal cable space: room to route cable and store connectors behind the camera.

What else you need

The box does not replace the camera. You still need a compatible Hikvision dome or fisheye camera, plus the network and power cabling for it. Mount it on a flat wall or a ceiling, depending on the camera configuration.
