Product Description
The 4 Way HDMI Splitter 4K UHD HDMI 1x4 Distribution Amplifier (SKU HDMI-SPLITTER-4WAY-4K, also listed as hdmi095) takes one HDMI signal and repeats it on four screens. HDMI stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface, the connector found on recorders, PCs and TVs.
What the specs mean
- 1 input, 4 outputs: connect one source, then run a cable to each display. All four screens show the same picture.
- 4K Ultra HD (UHD) support: the splitter handles a 4K UHD video signal, so a high-resolution source can go to several screens.
- Video and digital audio: sound travels with the picture over the same HDMI connection.
- Compact metal housing: a small unit that is easy to place beside the source.
- Plug and play: no software or configuration is needed.
Where it fits
Suitable sources include a DVR (digital video recorder), an NVR (network video recorder), a computer, a media player or a game console. Typical settings are control rooms, security monitoring stations, digital signage, retail displays and conference rooms, anywhere the same content must appear on several screens.
What else you need
- A source with an HDMI output.
- Up to four HDMI displays.
- HDMI cables: one from the source to the splitter, and one from the splitter to each screen.
