Product Description
The 2 Way Lever Wire Connector Terminal Block for CCTV Power Distribution (SKU 2-WAY-TERMINAL-BLOCK-GREY, MPN PCT-212) joins two conductors in a low-voltage CCTV circuit. Each wire goes into its own port and a lever clamps it. There are no screw terminals to tighten and no crimping tool to carry.
What the specs mean on site
- 2 ports: one wire in each side. It joins two conductors end to end.
- Lever clamp: open the lever, insert the wire, close it. Opening it again frees the wire, so the connector can be removed and reused during maintenance.
- 12V DC and 24V DC: made for CCTV power systems at these two voltages.
- Solid and stranded copper: covers the copper conductors in CCTV power cable, alarm wiring and low-voltage control wiring.
- Compact insulated housing: small enough for junction boxes and camera back boxes.
Where it fits
Use it to extend a power cable, connect a camera to its power supply, or repair a cut or damaged cable run.
What else you need
Copper cable and a 12V DC or 24V DC power supply that matches your camera. If a camera flickers or loses its image at night after a cable has been extended, check the power adapter rating and the cable length and quality. Long or weak cable can cause voltage drop, and infrared (IR) LEDs draw more power in the dark.
