Texecom AEA-0001 Veritas Impaq E Shock Sensor

The Texecom AEA-0001 Veritas Impaq E is a wired vibration detector for doors and window frames. It senses strong force or pressure before an intruder gets through, giving an early warning rather than waiting for the point of entry itself.

Key specs

Fitting it in a system

This is a wired sensor, so it needs a run back to your alarm panel's zone input rather than a wireless receiver. Engineer setup allows sensitivity to be tuned per frame during installation, which matters because a door and a window frame transmit vibration differently.

Where it's used

Suited to residential doors and windows, and to commercial or industrial sites such as offices, retail units or stores with valuable equipment, where an early hit on the frame is worth flagging before the door itself is forced.
