The Hikvision DS-KIS702-P(B) 2-Wire IP Video Intercom Kit Villa puts a door station and an indoor monitor on one two-core cable run. It is built for a single house or villa entrance.
What each spec means in use
- 2-wire connection: power and communication share one cable. That suits upgrades of existing intercom wiring.
- One call button: a visitor presses it and the indoor monitor rings.
- Built-in camera (DS-KD8003Y-IME2, surface mount): you see who is at the door before you answer.
- Touch screen monitor (DS-KH6320Y-WTE2): answer the call, view the visitor and release a connected door lock from the same screen.
- 16GB TF card included: TF is a small memory card format, similar to microSD. It stores messages and snapshots, so you can review visitors who called while you were out.
- DS-KAD704Y two-wire distributor module: supplied in the kit, alongside a power supply unit and power adapter.
What else you need
The kit covers the intercom itself. For door release, you need a lock connected to the system. Check the route of any old intercom cable before you start, since the 2-wire design is the reason this kit suits a re-use of that wiring.
