Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1(B)-Surface 2MP IP Video Intercom Door Station

The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1(B)-Surface 2MP IP Video Intercom Door Station is the main unit in Hikvision's KD8 Series Pro modular intercom range. A visitor presses the call button, and the call goes to indoor monitors or mobile applications on the intercom system.

What each spec gives you at the door

• 2MP fisheye camera: 2 megapixels (MP) with a wide-angle lens, so the view takes in the entrance area rather than a narrow strip.
• Infrared (IR) illumination: visitors can be identified in low light as well as daylight.
• One physical call button: a single call point for visitors.
• Two door lock control outputs: wire to electric strikes or magnetic locks.
• 12V 500mA output: powers an electronic lock directly, so a separate lock power supply is not needed for a lock within that rating.
• PoE (Power over Ethernet): power and data share one network cable.
• IP65, weather resistant: rated for outdoor mounting. This is a surface-mount unit, fixed to the wall.

What else you need

• A PoE-capable network connection at the door.
• An indoor monitor or mobile application to receive calls.
• The lock or locks you want to control.

For more than a call button, this main unit can be combined with KD8 modules such as card readers or keypads. It suits villa entrances, apartment buildings and office access points.
