HDMI Cable 2M – 4K Ultra HD High Speed with Ethernet

The HDMI Cable 2M – 4K Ultra HD High Speed with Ethernet (SKU HDMI-CABLE-4K-2M) joins an NVR (network video recorder) to a monitor. It has Type A male plugs at both ends. At 2m, it reaches from a rack to a nearby operator desk without a signal booster.

What the specs mean on screen

• HDMI 2.0 Premium High Speed, 18Gbps: carries 4K at 60Hz (3840x2160) with 4:4:4 chroma. That means full colour detail on every pixel, including 8MP camera feeds on a UHD monitor.
• HDR: HDR10 is supported, on monitors that offer it.
• Audio: 32-channel PCM/Dolby. ARC (Audio Return Channel) sends sound back to monitoring speakers.
• CEC (Consumer Electronics Control): lets linked displays power up in sequence, useful on video walls.
• Ethernet channel and HDCP 2.2: display control data and the copy-protection handshake both pass through.
• Backward compatible with HDMI 1.4: handles 1080p@120Hz from older DVRs.

What else you need

A recorder with an HDMI output, such as a Hikvision or Dahua unit, and a monitor with an HDMI input. The 4K picture only appears if both ends support it.
