It takes the picture from an NVR (network video recorder) HDMI output to a monitor.
What the specs mean on screen
- 48Gbps, HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed: enough bandwidth for 8K at 60Hz (7680x4320) or 4K at 120Hz. At 120Hz the image refreshes 120 times a second, so motion looks smoother.
- Dynamic HDR10+ and Dolby Vision: HDR (high dynamic range) formats for brighter highlights and deeper shadows on a display that supports them.
- eARC and 32-channel uncompressed audio: eARC is the enhanced Audio Return Channel, which sends sound back to a compatible audio device.
- VRR, ALLM, QFT: variable refresh rate, auto low latency mode and quick frame transport, aimed at gaming and training-simulator displays.
- Ethernet and CEC: CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) lets linked screens be controlled together.
Build
28-30AWG high-purity copper conductors, quadruple shielding against EMI (electromagnetic interference), 24K gold-plated contacts and a 6.5mm nylon-braided PVC jacket. Moulded strain relief with pull-tabs protects the connector ends. It is HDMI.org Ultra High Speed certified and RoHS compliant.
What else you need
For 8K60 or 4K120, both the recorder and the monitor must output and accept HDMI 2.1. The cable is backward compatible with HDMI 2.0/1.4, so current Hikvision and Dahua systems still run at 4K60. At 1.5m it suits equipment mounted close together, so measure the route first.
