Product Description
The HDMI Cable 4K High Speed 10m 60Hz AOC Ethernet HDMI-A Male to Male Black carries video from an NVR (network video recorder) HDMI output to a monitor 10m away. It is an active optical cable (AOC). Light carries the picture and copper carries power, so no external power supply is needed.
What the specs mean on screen
- 4K at 60Hz, 4:4:4 (3840x2160): a full-resolution picture with HDR support, at the 18Gbps bandwidth of HDMI 2.0 High Speed.
- HDCP 2.2 (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection): protected content passes through.
- Audio: Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. ARC (Audio Return Channel), CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) and HDMI Ethernet are supported.
- HDMI 1.4 backward compatibility: works with 1080p sources.
Built for pulling and fixed installs
The hybrid OM3 fibre and copper cable is 4.5mm across, with Kevlar reinforcement and pull-eye connectors rated to withstand 10kg of tension. Connectors are gold-plated and the cable is double shielded against EMI/RFI (electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference). Operating range is -20°C to 70°C.
Before you order
The signal is unidirectional, so it runs from source to display. To see 4K at 60Hz you need an NVR with a 4K HDMI output and a 4K monitor with an HDMI input. Passive copper is limited to about 5m at 4K60, which is why this cable uses optical fibre.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this HDMI AOC cable need a separate power supply?
No. It uses hybrid fibre and copper construction and needs no external power.
Will it work with an NVR that outputs 1080p?
Yes. It is backward compatible with HDMI 1.4 for 1080p sources.
Can the signal run in both directions?
No. The signal is unidirectional, running from the source to the display.
Why use an optical cable instead of passive copper at 10m?
Passive copper is limited to about 5m at 4K60. This active optical cable carries 4K at 60Hz 4:4:4 over the full 10m.
