The HDMI Cable 4K High Speed 3m 60Hz Ethernet HDMI-A Male to Male Black links a recorder's HDMI output to a monitor or projector up to 3m away. Both ends are HDMI Type A male, so you need an HDMI output on one device and an HDMI input on the other.

What the specs mean on screen

• HDMI 2.0 Premium High Speed certified, 18Gbps: carries 4K at 60Hz (3840x2160) with 4:4:4 chroma and HDR. That means full colour detail on a 4K display.
• Backward compatible with HDMI 1.4: it can also connect older equipment.
• HDCP 2.2: HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is supported.
• ARC, CEC and Ethernet channel: ARC (Audio Return Channel) sends audio back along the cable. CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) lets linked devices pass control commands. Audio formats include Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Build and routing

• 30AWG copper conductors (OFC, oxygen-free copper) with triple shielding: foil, braid and drain. This is aimed at reducing EMI (electromagnetic interference) near rack power supplies and PoE switches.
• Gold-plated pins and moulded strain relief.
• 6mm outer diameter LSZH/PVC jacket (LSZH is low smoke zero halogen), with a 72mm bend radius for tidy runs in trays beside Cat5e.
• RoHS compliant.

What else you need

A display with an HDMI input. For 4K at 60Hz, the recorder output and the screen must both support it.
