Product Description
The HDMI Cable High Speed 1.5m 4K 60Hz Ethernet HDMI-A Male to Male Black (SKU HDMI-CABLE-1.5M) joins two HDMI sockets over a short distance. Think of a network video recorder (NVR) beside its monitor, or a rack panel and a nearby display.
What the specs mean on screen
- High Speed HDMI 2.0 certified, 18Gbps: enough bandwidth for 4K at 60Hz (3840x2160) with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Text and fine detail stay sharp, with no colour data thrown away.
- Backward compatible with HDMI 1.4: works with older kit, including 1080p at 120Hz.
- 1.5m length: fits a desk, console or rack run. It will not reach across a room.
- HDMI Type A male to male: both ends plug into standard HDMI sockets.
Build
- Gold-plated contacts.
- Triple shielding (foil plus braid) around OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductors, 28-30AWG, to limit EMI (electromagnetic interference) from nearby power supplies.
- PVC jacket, 6-7.3mm in diameter, with moulded strain relief at the connectors.
- Ferrite filters are fitted on select models.
Features carried
ARC (audio return channel), CEC (consumer electronics control), HDCP (copy protection), Ethernet channel, 3D and HDR.
What else you need
A recorder with an HDMI output and a monitor with an HDMI input. For 4K at 60Hz, both must support it. The cable carries the signal but does not raise the resolution a device sends.
