Housing
This range covers three 4MP (4 megapixel) Turbo HD cameras. Turbo HD sends high-definition video over coaxial cable to a compatible recorder, so a recorder that accepts 4MP input is the first thing to check.
The three cameras
- Hilook 4 MP Fixed Turret Camera: fixed lens in a turret body.
- Hilook 4 MP Fixed Mini Bullet Camera: fixed lens in a compact bullet body.
- Prolux 4MP PoC Audio Eyeball Camera: 2.8mm lens, which gives a wide view that suits a room or garden. It has 50m IR (infrared) for night viewing, built-in audio and Hikvision compatibility.
How to choose
Pick by what you need the camera to do.
- Body style: turret, mini bullet or eyeball. Choose the one that suits the mounting spot.
- Sound: the Prolux is the audio model here. Your recorder must also support audio input.
- Power: PoC (power over coax) carries power and video down one cable. It needs a PoC-capable recorder or power source.
- Recorder: confirm it supports 4MP Turbo HD and has enough free channels.
