IPBOX Grey IP55 Waterproof Junction Box 200×155×80mm

A grey PVC enclosure rated IP55, built to keep dust and water spray off cable joints and connectors. Suits CCTV, networking and electrical wiring where a run needs a protected midpoint rather than an open splice.

What IP55 means here

The first digit (5) covers dust — protected against ingress, not fully sealed. The second digit (5) covers water — protected against water jets from any direction. That combination suits outdoor mounting points such as a camera cable junction on a wall or fence line, as well as indoor panels where dust is a concern.

Build and layout

The enclosure is PVC, described as durable for outdoor installations. It's adaptable, meaning cable entry points aren't pre-cut — you drill or knock through where your run needs them, so entries match your cable count and gland size rather than a fixed layout.

Fitting it in

For a CCTV run, this box gives you a dry point to join or extend cable before it reaches the camera or recorder — check your cable gland size separately, as none is specified for this box.
