ACM-K14B Stainless Steel Door Exit Push Button 114×69mm

The ACM-K14B Stainless Steel Door Exit Push Button 114×69mm is a wall-mounted release button for doors on access control. Press it and the connected panel or door controller unlocks the door, so people can leave a controlled area.

What the specs mean at the door

• Stainless steel plate, about 114 × 69 mm (11.4 × 6.9 cm). A metal faceplate that suits busy exit points such as offices, warehouses, residential complexes and security doors.
• Momentary contact switch. It signals while pressed and resets when released. That is the normal input type for an exit request.
• "PRESS TO EXIT" label. Users can see what the button does without being told.
• Flush plate mounting. The plate sits on a wall back box or an access control mounting plate beside the door.
• Indoor and outdoor installations. The same model can be used on either side of a building.

What else the door needs

The button does not unlock anything by itself. It must be wired to an electric lock, electric strike, magnetic lock or door controller, and that controller input must accept a momentary contact. You also need a back box or mounting plate to suit the 114 × 69 mm plate, and cable between the button and the controller.
