Product Description
The Klein Tools VDV826-764 CAT6A Shielded Pass Through RJ45 Plug 200 Pack contains 200 shielded RJ45 plugs for terminating CAT6A and large-diameter CAT6 shielded twisted pair (STP) cable.
What the specs mean on the job
- Pass-through design: the conductors run right through the plug. You can check the wire order before you crimp.
- Shielded housing: protects the connection from electromagnetic interference (EMI), which is noise from nearby electrical equipment.
- Gold-plated contacts: give consistent signal integrity.
- Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet: both speeds are supported.
- Indoor and outdoor cable: suits indoor and outdoor CAT6A and CAT6 STP.
- 200 plugs per pack: sized for multi-camera CCTV work and structured cabling.
What else you need
These plugs are for shielded cable. Your cable must be CAT6A or large-diameter CAT6 STP. You will also need a crimp tool that suits pass-through plugs.
At the far end of each run, an IP camera, a network video recorder (NVR) or a network switch is what the plug connects to. The VDV826-764 is used for CCTV IP cameras, NVR and switch connections, network cabinets and wider structured cabling systems.
