HOMSECUR 7” LCD Waterproof Video Door Phone - Doorbell Camera with Night Vision

The HOMSECUR 7” LCD Waterproof Video Door Phone - Doorbell Camera with Night Vision (SKU VIDEO-DOORPHONE-L09KID-A) is a two-part entry set for a house or villa. A camera sits at the door and a screen sits inside.

What each spec gives you

• 7-inch colour display: a live colour picture from the outdoor camera, so you can see who is there before you open the door.
• Touch-screen controls: you operate the system by tapping the indoor unit.
• Two-way audio: you hear the visitor and they hear you, through the indoor unit.
• Remote unlock: you can release the door from inside if you choose to.
• Night vision: the outdoor camera still gives a usable picture in low light.
• Waterproof outdoor unit: made for outdoor use at the door.
• Exterior monitoring: one touch on the indoor screen shows the outside view, with no need for a visitor to ring first.

Planning the fit

Decide the route for the cable between the outdoor camera and the indoor display before you mount anything. Night vision cameras generally draw more power in the dark. A weak supply or a long, thin cable can cause flicker or a black picture at night, so match the power supply and cable to the length of run.

The set is designed for residential use, with one outdoor camera and one indoor display.
