The Hikvision DS-KD-KP Keypad Pro Module with RFID for KD Intercom System gives a KD series door station two ways to admit people: a typed PIN or a contactless card.

What the specs mean at the door

• Capacitive touch numeric keypad: users enter a PIN (personal identification number) on touch-sensitive number keys.
• Backlit illumination: the keys are lit, so the keypad stays readable in low light.
• Built-in Mifare 13.56 MHz reader: RFID (radio-frequency identification) cards are read by the module itself. The reader is part of this unit, so it does not take a second slot.
• PIN or RFID card: each person can use whichever credential they have been given.

What else you need

This is a module, not a complete door station. It is made for Hikvision KD series modular intercom systems and sits alongside camera modules, display modules and other access control components.

It supports Hikvision flush mount and surface mount frames. Flush mount recesses the station into the wall. Surface mount fixes it on the wall face. Pick the frame to match the wall you are working with.
